Diesel’s recent resurgence can be entirely accredited to the almighty Glenn Martens. Taking helm of the deceased Y2K label, he’d work to breathe life into a brand that once dominated the denim world. After filing for bankruptcy in 2020, Diesel would somehow make the comeback of a lifetime, pivoting from such a niche, jean-oriented focus to one of innovation and experiment. Reclaiming the namesake ‘D’ logo, we’d see a revitalization of runway collections with emphasis on cuts and abstract palettes. In the wake of Y2K style’s claim to fame, we can only anticipate Diesel’s evolution through the coming seasons.
Debuting in the late 00s era, this longsleeve works with a negative graphic to depict a shocked man. Leaning forwards, the white base is used in pair with black accenting to detail each subtlety, sitting in pair with studded hardware throughout. Tagged as a size extra large, this long sleeve is finished with a draping cut and oversized sleeves.
