00s Dsquared2 White Denim ‘Boxer’ Monogram Shorts

Founded in 1995 by identical twins Dean and Dan Caren, Dsquared2 is born out of Toronto, Canada and has continued to change the runway’s perception of sex and music for nearly 30 years. Having worked short stints under both Gianni Versace and Diesel back in the 90s, over the course of 50 collections the duo has worked hand in hand, toying with ironic spins of slogan motifs, deconstructed silhouettes and celebrity wardrobes. From notoriously spending €750,000 on a single runway collection in the Fall of 2003, to dressing the likes of George Clooney, the pair has seemingly reimagined and altered every available silhouette.

 

Debuting in the 2000s, this pair of jorts exemplify the ethos of the Dsquared2 label. Converting a pair of white boxers into a denim bottom, the Canadian designers accent the waistband with monogram D2 spell out logos and a false crotch opening. In good condition aside from apparent use, this piece fits a size 36 waist and have a 7 inch inseam.
