  • Founded in 1984 by Daang Goodman, Tripp NYC has quickly become a staple in alternative, youth-oriented culture. Predominantly influenced by the diverse New York street scene, Goodman, who remains a highly receded and mysterious designer, would try her hand at rather toned patterns and cuts throughout the 90s. Taking on a “high-fashion” persona, Tripp would become well known for their unique approach to trending silhouettes, such as their famous neon skinny jeans, before introducing themselves to a harsher audience in the early 2000s. Now established among the heights of celebrity, Goodman would drift from her roots in mainstream design, opting for punk-like silhouettes with loads of aggressive and brash hardware that we’re familiar with today.

Plagued as the so-called ‘raver’ jeans, these bottoms stand as the most lucrative silhouette under Tripp NYC’s vast design umbrella. Referencing traditional rave apparel, from the likes of baggy Heatwave bottoms and oversized Adidas sweats, Goodman would additionally draw inspiration from wide cut Janko jeans. Adorned with metallic bondage strap detailing and an assortment of D-rings throughout, when dancing, these bottoms intend to create a unique and trippy effect, giving way to their massively flared cut and unique style of movement. With cinching mechanisms on the waistband, these jeans fit size 34-38, in new with tags condition.
