90s Christian Dior ‘Rabbit Fur’ White Heavy Weight Jacket

Christian Dior, founded in 1946 - Paris, revolutionized feminine expression in the mid 90’s and altered the definition of luxury. Through conceptual and meticulous design practice, the affluent label has maintained a rapidly growing audience. This die-hard fanbase is largely accredited to the introduction of menswear in 1970, Christian Dior ‘Monsieur’ pioneering the scene. Later changed to Dior ‘Homme’ in the early 2000’s and Dior ‘Men’ in 2018 under Kim Jones’ direction—‘Monsieur’ was the first taste of masculinity at Dior, and has rarely disappointed since.

 

Debuting in the 90s era, this jacket predates the likes of Hedi Slimane and Kris Van Ashee, standing for the authentic roots of the Christian Dior label. Crafted from a monochromatic rabbit fur hide, the overcoat is fit with welt pockets on the torso and a hidden clasping mechanism along the seam line. In great condition aside from some discolouration on the tag, this piece is tagged as a size medium and is in pristine condition throughout.
