AW05 Dolce & Gabbana ‘3D’ Multi Pocket Reinforced Cargo Denim

Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn 2005 collection transcended utilitarian aspects of past collections and the namesake’s lust for razor sharp tailoring. While the hybrid was rather obtuse, D&G retained a mix of Y2K style with dagger collared chic, breaking up the slew of looks with an array of shirtless models. Reconstructed garments walked, lined with cargo pockets and distressed hems, often paired with leathers and other luxury textiles. Closing the season with an abundance of suited looks, Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn 2005 collection would reiterate the ethos of Autumn ‘03, as many items reached grail-worthy status.

 

Debuting in the Autumn of 2005, this pair of bottoms illustrate the collection’s utilitarian tropes. Crafted with a heavyweight denim base, they feature a mud wash with oil accenting, in pair with 3D cargo pockets on either leg. Industrial metallic hardware comes in pair with reinforced seams and hidden zippered compartments on the out seam, finalized with a wide, baggy cut.
