AW05 Dolce & Gabbana Olive 3D Multi Pocket Reinforced Cargo Pants

Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn 2005 collection transcended utilitarian aspects of past collections and the namesake’s lust for razor sharp tailoring. While the hybrid was rather obtuse, D&G retained a mix of Y2K style with dagger collared chic, breaking up the slew of looks with an array of shirtless models. Reconstructed garments walked, lined with cargo pockets and distressed hems, often paired with leathers and other luxury textiles. Closing the season with an abundance of suited looks, Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn 2005 collection would reiterate the ethos of Autumn ‘03, as many items reached grail-worthy status.

 

Debuting in the Autumn of 2005, this pair of bottoms illustrate the collection’s maximalist tropes. In an olive green colour way, reinforced seams stand in pair with a rigid cotton base, accented by an array of cargo pockets on either leg. Metallic hardware accents the deep hue, while button snap closures hold each top-loading pocket in place. Rigid zippers compliment a nameplate on the underside, completing the garment with a wide, stacking cut. Fitting a size 34x32, in great condition aside from a missing button on the bottom left and underside.
