AW14 Issey Miyake ‘Kaleidoscope’ Multi-Coloured Denim

Yusuke Takahashi’s Autumn 2014 collection at the Issey Miyake label entailed a psychedelic experience of colours and patterning. Taking on the “fundamental contest of human existence—man versus nature”, Takahashi would draw from radiant, elemental palettes, adorning aqua, earth and fire tones atop suiting and straight edged cuts. Differing from any remnant of minimalism, Takahashi debuted a series of vibrant looks, all of came as two piece designs. Not only way the patterning captivating, but almost 3D, as it leached off the bodies of every model.

Debuting in the Autumn of 2014, these jeans sit harmoniously among the enchanting tropes of Yusuke Takahashi’s design. Walking the shapes and colours of an acid-infused kaleidoscope, octagonal honeycombs contrast each hue, making for a rainbow palette in the midst of whiskering. Fitting a size 34x28, they’re in pristine condition throughout.
