AW21 Supreme x Christopher Wool ‘Untitled’ Graffiti Denim Jacket

Christopher Wool is a contemporary American artist best known for his abstract, text based works. Referenced among designers like Raf Simons, and more recently, Supreme, the creative possess a wide range of stylistic techniques. From graffiti to typography, screen and hand painting, he often plays on geometric tropes, retaining abstract properties on every canvas. But Wool isn’t limited to a 2D plane, the artist often works with freestanding sculptures in both galleries and real world applications, and has even dabbled in stage design. Regarded as one of the most influential creatives of his generation, Christopher Wool continues to redefine his own parameters yearly.

 

For Supreme’s Autumn 2021 collection, the New York streetwear label collaborated with Christopher Wool through a series of prints and cuts. The jacket shown references ‘Untitled, 2001’, an asymmetric design dripping of blood red paint atop a denim trucker jacket. Complete with a Supreme patch and metallic hardware, the print encases the jacket in its entirety, finalized with a work collar and welt pockets. Tagged as a size medium, in new with tags condition.
