By pivoting into the world of athletics at the turn of the century, Bikkembergs’ can be accredited with the indulgence of many following namesakes and pushed luxury sportswear as a whole. He would often experiment with local Belgian football teams to gauge cuts and designs, this niche becoming a main focus later on. The Flemish creative’s approach to masculinity is wildly unique, consistently innovating in his own regard.
