  • General Research’s 1998 ‘Parasite’ collection has garnered mass infamy since debut. Influencing many of today’s maximal utilitarian trends, the collection can be accredited as the origin of highly functional absurdity, plastering hundreds of pockets atop tactical wear. Walking bulletproof vests among coveralls and 100-pocket puffer jackets, Kobayashi Setsumasa (GR’s founder & creative director) worked to surpass practicality through rigid textiles and intricate patterning techniques. Dawning a new age in technical design, he would work to innovative in a newly saturated field, among the likes of Helmut Lang and Dolce & Gabbana.

While extremely lucrative, this two piece bundle features both the Parasite bucket hat and 74 pocket hunting jacket. Coating both the body and underside with top loading velcro clasp compartments, a camouflage exterior coats the body and sleeves. Black zippered hardware is accented by a silver etched ‘GR’ bottom accents, finished with D-ring logos to pair. Tagged as a size medium, in pristine condition throughout.
