An idea riding on ingenuity and versatility, the founder of Undercover, Jun Takahashi—created a interchangeable multi-season collective. The title plays on the hyper-functionality of each garment, zippers line the hems of every piece released, allowing for “parts” to be swapped between each other. From jackets to crewnecks, each garment can be stripped and reconstructed in some way. Needless to say, the collection has become cemented within the world of archival fashion, forever displaying Takahashi’s unmatched vision.

The garment showcased perfectly depicts the ideaology behind Small Parts. Featuring detachable zippers on every seam, the crewneck can be fully dismantled into four individual pieces. Separating at the collar, sleeves, front and back panel, the item can be paired with a multitude of garments, endlessly in style. The original assembly consists of a cotton base, zippered hems and a graphic reading “Generation Fuck You”. Since re-editioned in collaboration with Supreme, the slogan has remained apart of Takahashi’s label for decades, preaching individuality and rebellion much like Undercover.
