Bottega Veneta has been seamlessly meshing into wardrobes since 1966. Founded in Vicenza, Italy by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro, the leather goods company has successfully reinvented modern classics through androgynous silhouettes, tentative quality and more recently, toned avant-grade. Following a decline in sales during the logo-heavy 2000’s, Veneta persevered by creating signature design techniques (the Interecciato weave) to eventually conquer the market and drive popularity. Bottega Veneta syphoned all resources into a lane of sheer eminence, as Daniel Lee gained creative direction in 2018. Since, Bottega Veneta has seen a massive influx in demand, winning both brand and designer of the year in 2019. In just over three fashion circuits Lee has transformed the label into a monopoly, using puddle boots and luxury as a caveat to design.

 

Displayed beautiful in this button up, Bottega’s signature eye for toned avant-garde shines through in the form of playful lettering. A scattered print lies atop a pinstripe button up, paired with cream hardware and a flared collar. Wrapping around the garment, the print clusters and pulses, creating an incredibly unique piece.
