Dolce & Gabbana’s days in the early 2000’s marked a change of pace for the lucrative Italian brand. Shifting from luxurious leather goods and moving to a stance of proclamation, it quickly became evident the focal point was now located atop the catwalk. By introducing silhouettes akin to utility, the label pioneered a beloved niche known today. Cargo pockets lined every other garment as zippers and metallic hardware coated their owners. Dolce & Gabbana tied the knot between urban wear and affluence, using textiles out of reach in the streetwear verse while paying homage and elevating such. Bondage straps engulfed and restricted while freeing with expression, igniting a fury of garments now regarded under the brand’s golden era.

 

Debuting in the fall 2002 collection, this corduroy vest features the key concepts of the tactical era. Fox fur lines the interior of the garment and a tan corduroy textile highlights the outer layer. Cargo pockets protrude among zippers and belts, while a d-ring hangs from the collar. Finalizing the item, a clasped backpack is layered atop a stray panel as well. Fitting a men's medium, in great condition throughout.
