FW13 Supreme x Gonz ‘Piss Face’ Slogan Royal Blue Zip-up Hoodie

For Supreme’s Fall 2013 collection, the New York label enlisted Mark Gonzales of ‘Blind Skateboards’ to illustrate an array of graphics and collaborative motifs. Gonzales, otherwise known as Gonz, is a skateboard legend, coined the “godfather of modern skate culture”, in addition to being named the ‘most influential skateboarder of all time’. Doubling as a cartoon artist, his ties with Supreme trace back to 2007, having provided artwork for the original storefront on Lafayette street. He’s created sculptures for each Supreme location, while working as a collaborative prospect for years. Gonz continues to push the boundaries of street and skate culture, as he he onwards with personal endeavours.

 

While Gonz’s art style is traditionally crude, this hoodie is among the most distorted of his portfolio. In a royal blue colour way, the zip-up features messy neon orange text atop the hoodie’s underside, reading “I’ve never wanted to piss on someone’s face more than I want to piss on yours”. In pair with a misspelled Gonz chest logo, a reference to post cards Mark Gonzales would often send to the ‘Supream’ team, metallic hardware finalizes this heavyweight piece. Tagged as a size extra large, in great condition throughout.
