FW18 Raf Simons CK205W39NYC ‘Landscape’ Western Trucker Jacket

Raf Simons’ induction to the Calvin Klein label was an unprecedented move back in 2016. The designer was met with heaps of backlash upon announcement, as many disliked the direction Simons had envisioned. Tackling Western aesthetics, it would be years before his creative direction would be appreciated, but is now regarded as the height of Simons’ modern era. The designer’s contract was terminated following his Spring 2019 collection, and elusive knits, prints and collaborations have become incredibly sought after as a result.

Depicting a Western landscape, this denim trucker jacket blends tonal hues with metallic hardware. A dagger collar is accented by a straight cut and symmetric button clasp chest pockets, in contrast with a cherry red Jacron patch. Green forestry coats the upper, transcending sparsely towards the bottom hem in view of cattle. Cowboys are then seen atop horses, dashing forward with a lasso in hand to complete the look. Tagged as a size medium, in pristine condition throughout.
