Hysteric Glamour is a Japanese label known for redefining the lines between streetwear and luxury, blending the modern take of each with innovative design. Nobuhiko “Nobu” Kitamura (Hysteric Glamour’s founder) began his career at youth-oriented fashion label “Ozone Community”, 1984. His first introduction in the fashion and industry, the young creative had graduated from Mode Gakuen fashion college that same year. Here Kitamura, like many Japanese designers, became fascinated with Western culture. He took this new found inspiration, respectfully departed from the Ozone label and created Hysteric Glamour. His brand would garner traction throughout the years, subsequently becoming a staple in Japanese street culture.

This piece features a ‘Hysteric’ collegiate motif atop the back of a royal blue silhouette. The iconic ‘666’ chenillie patch then rests atop the right side of the jacket, lined with white detailing to pair alongside the leather sleeves. Two stacking patches read “76” and “Hysteric Service” as well, utilizing the darker palette to contrast stark colours like red and orange. Yellow striping circles each hem, making for a rather simple but essential item - easily layering with a variety of wardrobes. In great condition aside from light patina on the leather, this item fits a size small. Seize the opportunity to purchase the incredible Hysteric Glamour ‘666’ Patched Leather Varsity Jacket today.
