Hysteric Glamour is a Japanese label known for redefining the lines between streetwear and luxury, blending the modern take of each with innovative design. Nobuhiko “Nobu” Kitamura (Hysteric Glamour’s founder) began his career at youth-oriented fashion label “Ozone Community”, 1984. His first introduction in the fashion and industry, the young creative had graduated from Mode Gakuen fashion college that same year. Here Kitamura, like many Japanese designers, became fascinated with Western culture. He took this new found inspiration, respectfully departed from the Ozone label and created Hysteric Glamour.
