SS02 Dolce & Gabbana 3D Reinforced Black Painted Cargo Pants

Dolce & Gabbana’s step into the new millennia was refreshing by all accounts. Introducing silhouettes akin to utility, the label immersed themselves under a militaristic persona. Popularized by designers like Helmut Lang, the tactical revolt provided a new take on utilitarian traditions. Incorporating luxury furs and expert tailoring, founders Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce unapologetically pushed the envelope, straying far from their classic Italian roots. Using their power as an established maison, the duo was able to create timeless staples, regarded as the brand’s “golden era”.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2002, these militaristic bottoms exemplify Dolce & Gabbana’s push towards utility. White paint revolves around each leg, reading “Dolce & Gabbana” in a faded hue. Complemented by reinforced seams, metallic paneling and a vast array of hardware, they’re finalized with 3D cargo pockets, and a wide cut. Stacking beautifully, these fit a 34x34, in great condition throughout.
