SS03 Dolce & Gabbana ‘Sex’ Lambskin Leather Belt Skirt

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2003 collection titled ‘Sex’, remains at the height of the Italian Maison’s portfolio. Deriving from a fire of lust and rebellion, the collection would unveil S&M and lewd fittings to the world, embellishing buckles, corsets and lace detailing on nearly every fitting. The duo would brand models with spell out chokers while simultaneously cinching ligaments and torsos with belted overcoats that looked all too similar straight jackets. Coming in a neutral lambskin leather, silver metallic hardware coats the right side of the skirt, allowing for wearer’s to customize the skirt’s fit to their desired proportions. Finished with a concealed zipper beneath the series of belt mechanisms, this bottom is truly a piece of fashion history, as worn by style icons like Kim Kardashian.
