SS04 Dolce & Gabbana ‘Tonal’ Sheepskin Leather Racing Jacket

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2004 collection transcended utilitarian aspects of past collections and the namesake’s lust for razor sharp tailoring. While the hybrid was rather obtuse, D&G retained a mix of Y2K style with dagger collared chic, breaking up the slew of looks with an array of shirtless models. Slim cuts walked, lined with racing details and distressed hems, often paired with leathers and other luxury textiles. Closing the season with an abundance of suited looks, Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2004 collection would reiterate the ethos Autumn ‘05, as many items reached grail-worthy status.

 

Among the heights of the Spring ‘04 collection, this biker jacket features colour blocking throughout. In a tonal palette, metallic details contrast the slim biker cut, accented by black stitching and a sheepskin base. Flaring at the collar, and either sleeve hem, each pocket is then clasped with zipper clasp mechanisms. In pristine condition throughout, tagged as a size medium.
