Pivoting effortlessly from a brooding, gloomy aesthetic seen in previous shows, “May The Circle Be Unbroken” (MTCBU) was a lighter transition into androgynous cuts and a wider colour palette. Simons’ insinuated a feeling of weightless absence underneath a harrowing cult aura, blending his previous ‘sinister’ approach with airy textiles and inviting graphics. The Belgian creative put prominence on minimalistic accessories and form fitting cuts, showcasing his progression and versatility as a menswear designer.
