SS06 Dior by Hedi Slimane ‘Glitter’ Skinny Cut Denim

Hedi Slimane’s Spring 2006 collection at the Dior Homme label would immortalize Hedi Slimane's fascination with The Libertines lead Pete Doherty. Pushing the frontman’s militaristic, sleazy teddy boy aesthetic towards the face of Dior, this season, his lacklustre attitude was conveyed through slim cut tailoring, porkpie hats, suspenders and dotted polos. Each model was outfitted with cropped bangs, unbreathable denim and trousers, amidst a few standout glam rock looks that featured standout items like glitter and sequin jackets.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2006 as the collection’s standout look, this pair of jeans feature a full glitter exterior and skinny cut. With an elongated inseam, they stack along the bottom of any boot or sneaker effortlessly and are completed with metallic hardware throughout. Fitting a size 30x34.5, they were altered to fit a larger size by the previous owner, but have been professionally tailored back to their original size and are in great condition.
