SS18 Junya Watanabe ‘Patchwork’ Multi-Stitch Wide Cut Denim

Junya Watanabe’s Spring 2018 collection brought perfected minimalism in it’s purest form. Working with long-time collaborative brands such as Levi’s and Carhartt, Watanabe elevated the worker’s uniform, coating jackets with paint and adorning leather patches to denim. Models represented the laborious work force, walking in what could have been their every day apparel. Hits from The North Face and Karrimor were seen on much of the outerwear, coming in similarly tonal colours. The collection was subtle yet concise, and evidently a product of Junya Watanabe.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2018, this incredible pair of denim features intense patchwork detailing atop and washed base. Distressing emerges from plaid swatches and metallic hardware, accented by a wide cut and rigid silhouette. In pristine condition, these bottoms fit a size 32x28.
