SS19 Balenciaga ‘Cheetah’ Print Oversized Denim Trucker Jacket

Demna Gvasalia’s Spring 2019 collection at the Balenciaga Maison was set “inside someone’s digital mind”. Transforming the traditional catwalk through exotic, pulsating visuals, throughout the show, the floor, walls and ceiling spit neon hues. Dancing beneath each model’s feat, the display was realized in collaboration with digital artist Jon Rafman, whom Gvasalia had met at Art Basel. Giving Rafman complete creative control, the immersive experience would leave audience members shocked, complimenting the collection’s explosive traits effortlessly. With a massive, colourful palette, the Georgian designer refused to shy from both jarring patterns and minimal looks, toying with the geometries of the human body while contemplating our generally accepted silhouettes.

 

Debuting in Spring of 2019, this incredible cheetah print overcoat emphasizes the collection’s audacious attitude. Fit with metallic hardware and a boxy fit, a heavyweight denim base comes complete with angular chest pockets and darting along the torso. Tagged as a size 34, this jacket fits oversized at a men’s large, in pristine condition throughout.
