He uses a medium known as ‘pleating’ to emphasize folds within the fabric, in this case with the intention to create a geometric spider web. The pattern stems from the right side of the chest, spreading onto the entirety of the front panel. Takahashi suppresses the buttoned seam behind a fold of fabric in order to preserve the mind-bending graphic, further showcasing his meticulous attention to detail. The garment is in pristine condition with no signs of wear whatsoever and is tagged as a size 4, equating to a true to size x-large.
