SS22 Supreme x Æon Flux ‘Blink Once’ Black Leather Varsity Jacket

For Supreme’s Spring 2022 collection, the New York streetwear label collaborated with Peter Chung’s ‘Æon Flux’ television series to release a variety of graphic heavy pieces. First debuting in 1991, the American avant-garde science fiction project would air for four years on MTV until 1995. Set in a “German expressionist futuristic universe”, the show would comprise of a dystopia inhabited by mutant creatures, in which a tall, sexy dominatrix secret agent undertakes a mission to infiltrate and destroy the city of ‘Brenga’. Through incredibly psychedelic and unique imagery, the cartoon would soon become a cult-classic, later evolving into a live-action film.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2022, this varsity jacket features a portrait of the series’ main heroine atop a black wool base. Complete with leather sleeves and Supreme embroidery on the chest and high back, dual wield guns sit alongside metallic hardware. Finalized with ribbed hems and contrast lettering just above, a slogan reads reads “Blink once, you’re dead. Blink twice, you’re buried”, in pair with Æon Flux branding. Tagged as a size large, this piece is in pristine condition throughout.
