Who Decides War is a label that has seemingly crept into the Parisian fashion circuit under the grips of Everard Best and Tela D’Amore. Having rebranded from Best’s previous label; Ev Bravado, Who Decides War aims to “draw awareness towards what is going on in the world at large and most importantly to draw awareness of our well-being as human beings,”. With highly unique and intricate use of denim, the label’s rhetorical name calls to War’s spectrum, stating “it is something we struggle with as a nation and on a personal level. We are always at war, whether it is between two countries, two people, or you against yourself. No matter the conflict, it is nothing that one single entity can control.” With distinct interest in the conflicts between people, concepts and cultures, the collective continues to reinvent our ideals of luxury wear.

 

Debuting in the Spring of 2023, this denim jacket exemplifies Murder Bravado’s highly distinct design philosophy. Manipulating an exposed, thread barren technique, the overcoat creates a moss-like effect through thrashed detailing and a light wash base. Encasing the denim jacket with distressing, the boxy silhouette is accented by metallic hardware and a wide cut, finalized with top locating pockets on the body to pair.
