FW15 Supreme ‘Child of Hell’ Slogan Yellow Knitted Sweater

Supreme’s Autumn 2015 collection references a passage from the New Testament, in which Jesus condemns the Pharisees. The scripture illustrates one of seven woes pronounced by the Lord, reading “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are” (Matthew 23:15). Referring to the Pharisees as “children of hell”, or in literal terms, “son of Gehenna”, Jesus insinuates each is deserving of hell for their wickedness, displayed in many differing traits. From hypocrisy to burdening while seeking praise and glory, Jesus pronounces “woes” for their guilt and punishment.

 

Coming in a mustard yellow hue, this infamous sweater derives from Supreme Autumn 2015 collection. A stand out among an array of collaborative efforts, the sweater features gothic “Child of Hell” lettering in a contrasting black font. Accented by a wide cut and small ‘Supreme’ tab on the side hem, tagged as a size large in pristine condition throughout.
