FW22 NILøS ‘800PAM1’ Cut Out Ballon Oversized Nylon Pants

NILøS, founded by Julius’ figurehead Tatsurk Horikawa, is a new label under his overarching parent company ‘Third Stone’. The brand name is an acronym for “Non Isn Line øf Self”, depicting a borderless attitude towards the label’s design philosophy. Horikawa’s inspiration derives a premise in mathematics known as an empty set, which can be represented by the symbol ‘ø’. Found at n the name itself, NILøS attempts to nullify both the ideals and principals of the human condition in order to retain only the purest signification. Refuting categorization, the label instead conforms to the wearer themself, embracing the natural differences between things and beings of nature. Adapting to the originality of the wearer, NILøS pushes emphasis towards one’s own creations.

 

Debuting in NILøS’ Autumn 2022 collection, these massively oversized bottoms exemplify the brand’s core ethos. The balloon silhouette is accented by a wide range of ingenuity, found in the multi faceted second layer of nylon panelling. Creating a wild 3D cut, metallic hardware is found in pair with black clasps, spiral lettering and zippered compartments on either side. Due to the exaggerated length, Horikawa opts to synch either hem with adjustable elasticated bands, finalizing the piece with similar drawstring on the waist. In new with tags condition, fitting a 30-34 waist by 33 inseam.
