Number (N)ine founder and creative director Takahiro Miyashita was always fascinated by Americana aesthetic and punk rock culture. Embarking on a journey from his home in Japan, Miyashita flew across the globe in order to submerge himself within the Western world. The young creative became infatuated with the raw emotion seamlessly conveyed through music, and the underlying freedom of expression in fashion. The designer became distant and defiant within the unconventional rock scene, reworking his moral in pursuit of the American dream. With his dissent beliefs and strive for the unorthodox, Takahiro Miyashita began Number (N)ine at age 24, eternally altering the street scene in an abstract way.

 

Coming in a white colour way, this tee features Takahiro’s signature slogan lettering across the chest. Reading “I go back to where I left her but there’s nothing inside”, the author speaks of a grieving pain, printed atop a white heavy weight blank.
